Pac-Man and Mega Man Join the frey as official exclusive fighters for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Looks like you know what version to buy now!
Street Fighter X Tekken‘s roster is already bursting with fan favorites from both sides, and today we can add two more iconic characters to the list – and in this case, they’re exclusive to PS3 and PS Vita players…
Two iconic mascots, Pac-Man and Mega Man, join the fray with existing PlayStation exclusives Cole, Kuro and Toro. However, both mascots arrive in altered forms to create battles unique to Street Fighter X Tekken; Pac-Man rides Tekken’s Mokujin, while Mega Man references the “classic” bad box art from the original US Mega Man.
Street Fighter X Tekken for the PS3 launches March 6, with the PS Vita to follow!

There have been several Driver games released since its debut in 1999. In my opinion, there hasn’t been a good Driver game since 2000 with the sequel to the Original Driver game, Driver 2. Since that release there have only been a long list of disappointing Drive game releases ranging from graphical issues, dull to just downright bad gameplay mechanics the worst offender being Driver 3 (Driv3r). What I can say (thankfully…) is that there is finally redemption ahead for this series in the form of Driver San Francisco. Hopefully the franchise will continue in this positive direction. –WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILERS- Continue reading Driver: San Francisco – Review (PS3)
It was a broken system from the get-go. $20 gets me 1600 points, ok so that means 800 points is $10, ah fuck the maps i want are 2000 points!?? That means I have to buy ANOTHER card because i miscalculated?!!! Trust me, i’m positive i am not the only person who went through this. While the idea of prepaid cards is great (PSN here’s a nod to you) i HATE when companies use proprietary point values that force you to have to figure out values, and which ultimately always seem to leave you with 80 points just sitting in your account (you too Nintendo). The Muppets Premium Level Kit
Following on the heels of the three Muppets costume packs, allow us to proudly present the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational level kit of all time, the Muppets Premium Level Kit – a new story mode for LittleBigPlanet 2 spanning 5 new levels and 2 mini-games…
Wanna know what’s in it?
The nefarious Phantom has plans to stop the Muppet Show from being a smashing success. That simply will not do! With help from the new Attract-O-Gel and Attract-O-Tweak, products of the infamous Muppet Labs, it’ll be up to you to make sure it all goes off without a hitch before the last curtain falls. What Level kit would be complete without another Popit bursting selection of new creator assets and tools? The Muppets pack is filled with oodles of decorations, stickers, objects, music tracks, sound effects, and voices, plus 7 new trophies, 12 new pins AND a bonus costume of Rowlf the Dog.
But that’s not all folks, that new glowing blue Attract-O-Gel material mentioned above allows Sackboy to walk on walls and ceilings, whilst the Attract-O-Tweak gadget can be used to give these sticky properties to any material.
The Muppets Premium Level Kit is available next week from the 24th of January (Release dates may vary, depending on your territory), and costs £4.79 / €5.99 / US $5.99 / AUS $ 9.95 / NZD $11.50
It has been reported that both maps must be downloaded otherwise you will receive an error during matchmaking. maps can be downloaded by selecting “Download Elite Content” from the ingame store. PlayStation 3 Elite Premium users will recieve the maps at a later time. The PC does not have Call of Duty Elite so it is assumed they will be offered as DLC at a later date as well.
Saints Row: The Third smashes its way through your console/PC like a bull in a china shop, except the bull can dual wield, perform over-the-top wrestling finishers, and is beating you to death with a Dildo-Bat. SR3 knows it’s a videogame, and does everything in its power to play like one rather than try to emulate gritty real life scenarios. What does that mean exactly? It’s a videogame in a videogame that is a videogame that isn’t afraid to show it with pride. It hasn’t gone the way of the dark bruiting “Realism” of it’s contemporaries, most notably Grand theft Auto 4. SR3 positions itself as the spiritual successor to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in this reviewer’s opinion, because there hasn’t been anything really like it since that game. Its rude, crude, and a hell of alot of fun. Continue reading Saints Row: The Third – Review (PS3)
Surprise surprise, another year, another Call Of Duty. Activision loves making clockwork, coming back to its money-makers year after year. Does the game stack up after all this time, or has it gone sour like its competitors? -WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILERS!- Continue reading Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Review (PS3,360)
With its release in Japan and its impending debut here in the US, the Playstation vita has a lot of buzz going for it right now. For the past year we have been teased by Sony with all of the features that the Vita comes equipped with such as the OLED touch screen, reverse touch pad, Dual cameras, 3G connectivity, Dual joysticks, and a slew of other advancements and software that it will come with out of the box. The game footage that has been shown at press conferences has been very impressive, which really shows what games can play like within the handheld market. The key question that is on everyone’s mind is what makes the vita any different than just an advanced PSP? How will these features effect the success or failure that plagued the PSP?
