Origami, yet no Asian's to be found....
The title “Heavy Rain” perfectly embodies Quantic Dream’s interactive drama masterpiece. The title is literal and symbolic in more ways than one, all of which you will discover rather quickly over the course of the eight to ten hours it will take you to complete the story on your first play through. Prepare yourself for some seriously involving and emotionally taxing gameplay and story. This game is as close to a gripping novel or movie as they can come to in this medium and is an inexcusable miss if you own a PlayStation 3.

Electronic Art’s answer to Activision’s Modern Warfare Juggernaut is here, aiming to take a chunk out of the king’s reign and take a good portion of the fan base with it. After having played this finely crafted epic for a total of 36 hours, I can definitely answer the question that most have been arguing about across videogame forums since March 2nd. is Battlefield: Bad Company 2 a better experience than Modern Warfare 2? The answer is both yes and no, from this reviewers perspective, read on, read on.

Modern Warfare Half/Ass 2
When Sony unveiled the Massive Action Game at E3, permanently associated with the acronym “MAG”, I was skeptical if a 256 player online shooting gallery could ever be pulled off well. Aside from some obvious logistical problems with unit size, balance, and connection issues, just making something that large and complex fun seemed like a monumental task bound for failure. Zipper interactive is best known for the SOCOM series which is a PlayStation mainstay, primarily with the PlayStation 2. They know how to make a great online game work with heavy team cooperation as the primary focus for success. it is with great regret that I must inform you that MAG is a sad muddy mess that was a risky endeavor by both Sony and Zipper which does not payoff on almost any level.

Furry Metal N Grease
I have personally never been a huge fan of Insomniac’s Ratchet and Clank series, not because they are not good games, but based on the premise that they tend to get boring rather quickly. Ive delved in more than one of the original Playstation 2 titles and never found the series compelling enough to complete. Thankfully services like Gamefly are available to allow me to sample series that I may not have been so keen on giving an honest shot. Does the jump to the next gen PlayStation platform and extra development time help evolve this game, or is it a prettier rehash of the past?

No more video or podcasts for awhile, im currently camera-less and Marco and I have determined our Garageband issue is a known OS X 10.5+ issue that Apple has not resolved yet so even if I buy the new iMac, it might be awhile before I get that working. Currently as I am the only person fiscally responsible for the site, without any help it will be awhile before any of these things are resolved. I will continue to post my reviews, and any of those by the other writers who feel like submitting ones as well.
Thanks,
Bobby
